This course is designed for those new to the MDS who need a basic understanding of the manual and assessments. It is designed to provide instructions on the most current CMS guidelines. The course will address timing and scheduling of assessments and highlighted sections from Chapter 3. It will also include pertinent updates and changes, as it is imperative that staff completing the MDS understand the guidelines and regulations.
