The Director of Food Services will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising the Dietary Department personnel, food production, and food service. This position is responsible for participating in department budgeting and planning processes and for understanding and complying with all federal and state regulations and requirements. This position will also be responsible for overseeing nutritional reviews on all residents according to federal and state guidelines.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following: 1) a Dietary Manager certification; or 2) a Food Service Manager certification; or 3) a similar national certification for Food Service Management; or 4) an Associate’s Degree or higher in Food Service Management or Hospitality. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of dietary management experience is required. Long-term care experience is preferred. Seeking candidates willing and able to work flexible hours in order to supervise A.M. and P.M. personnel. Must possess strong teamwork skills.
