SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (February 10, 2015) Plante Moran Cresa (PMC) — an independent real estate consulting affiliate of Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest accounting and management consulting firms — announces the launch of a new division: Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF). PMLF will comprise a team of experts solely dedicated to providing fully integrated strategic, financial, operational, real estate site selection, and development advisory services to senior living providers.
PMLF brings together a group of Plante Moran professionals who have decades of financial, market, and operational expertise in health care and senior living with their real estate and development colleagues at Plante Moran Cresa.
“As we know, our population is aging,” said Matt Weekley, partner in charge of Plante Moran’s national healthcare practice. “Our clients are requesting sophisticated advocacy to respond to growing demand. Plante Moran Living Forward will work closely with Plante Moran to deliver pertinent solutions with the goal of helping operators increase the supply as well as the quality of housing opportunities for seniors.”

“Plante Moran Living Forward is truly unique, bringing financial and market feasibility, site selection, and construction advisory under a single point of contact so senior living providers can stay competitive, grow, and provide quality care,” added Patrick McCormick, president of PMLF. Patrick has spent 21 years with Plante Moran in the senior care and living industry, providing consulting in the areas of healthcare reimbursement, feasibility projects and market studies, and mergers and acquisitions. He will be based in Cleveland, Ohio.
PMLF will initially be made up of a 12-person team, housed in Plante Moran offices throughout the Midwest. Laura Hester, who joins the team as senior vice president of consulting, has been with PMC for two years and has 15 years of experience managing the planning, development, and construction of senior living communities throughout the Midwest. She will be primarily based in Michigan. Also joining the team as vice president will be Dana Wollschlager, who brings 25 years of experience in the industry and expertise in services ranging from design and construction oversight, financing, and regulatory compliance to on-site operations and management. She will be based in Chicago.
