This 8-week webinar series emphasizes skill building for the Post-Acute Care Infection Preventionist with a focus on establishing and managing an effective IPC program in the SNF/LTC/AL setting.
This session will discuss the essential roles and responsibilities of the IP, essential skills for being an effective IP, and resources and training available to support Ips.
Projected Learning Outcomes/Course Objectives: At the conclusion of each session, the learner will:
1. Describe the roles and responsibilities of the IP
2. Understand the training and qualifications of the IP role
3. Describe skills for being an effective IP
4. Identify resources available to support IPs
Course Content
Infection Preventionists, Nurses and Clinical Leaders in SNF/LTC/AL settings.
Sessions are scheduled on the following Wednesdays each week from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. ET:
Each session is eligible for one CEU for licensed Indiana administrators and licensed Indiana social workers. LeadingAge Indiana will award the Indiana-specific CEU for each individual who signs the CEU Sign-In form returned to LAIN after a session. Signing the CEU Sign-in form attests that you have listened to the webinar in full.
