Committees Now Accepting Members for 2015

 Interested in Joining a Committee?

LeadingAge Indiana committees play a vital role in the operation and direction of the association. Committee action is reported and discussed in-depth at Board of Directors meetings. Your involvement on a committee can help make a difference. Most committees meet approximately three times a year, demanding little from your schedule. A list of committees is below.

Please note: You are NOT automatically renewed on a committee from year to year. Even if you would like to remain on the same committee as in 2014, you must indicate your interest for 2015. If we have not heard from you by February 1, 2015, we will assume you no longer want to serve on a committee.

Meeting dates and times will be publicized in the newsletter and on our website, and all members are invited to attend. You may also sign up for an email reminder of the meetings. For the sake of the room size, members are encouraged to notify LeadingAge Indiana when attending.
The Roundtable structure means there is no formal sign-up – the meetings will have an open-door policy. We feel this will help members who have busy schedules and may not be able to commit to serving on a committee for an entire year. Members can attend as their schedule allows and if a particular topic is of interest.

In addition to the opportunity to serve on a committee, Associate Members are also encouraged to volunteer during the Spring or Fall Conference. This provides Associate Members an excellent opportunity to network with members while assisting the Association. Volunteer duties may include everything from handing out registration packets to moderating an educational session at the conference.

Your time commitment as a volunteer can range from two hours to two days – LeadingAge Indiana will work with you to find opportunities that fit your schedule. If you are interested in becoming more involved with LeadingAge Indiana through volunteer opportunities, please check the correct box/s on the Associate Member Committee Preference form.
